Extension activities
Our B.Ed students render their self –less service to the local
communities. Our trainees are members in NGO organisation like RAAC and OSAI
(Both Eco awareness organisations). Moreover our students participated in
outreach programmes conducted by the organisations like RAAC, OSAI, Siruthuli
etc., Parents –Teachers Association contributes to development and welfare of
the institution.Our trainees are given opportunity to serve as teachers in the
schools through placement service of our college. The Government schools and
corporation schools allow our students to undergo internship in their schools.Apart
from Visiting orphanages and old age homes to give programmes.To create
awareness about the traffic regulation.To inculcate the necessity of
cleanliness and to create awareness about the environment and pollution.

Placement and
training cell has been functioning to provide job opportunities for the teacher
students. Career fair has conducted every year. Career/course counseling begins right at the time of admission. The faculty guide and direct the students
regarding the choice of stream / subjects.

DAY

A P J Abdul Kalam’s birthday (15th October), celebrated as "Youth Awakening Day", Our students have organised a rally and inaugurated
by the District Collector Ms.Archna Patnaik I.A.S.
A Special lecture have also
been arranged in the afternoon.Our Principal
Dr. N.Ramakrishnan has welcome the gathering and Dr.Senavarayan.,Professor,Department of Tamil, Government Arts
College, Coimbatore gave the motivational talk to our students. Dr.R. Indirani,
Professor,Department of English Education proposed the vote of thanks.

Principal ,Government Arts College,Coimbatore on 19.11.2015 and delivering
inaugural address. During her speech to emphasised students involvement in
all the activities conducted by the
college and she gave portfolio to the members and all the union members have
taken the oath. College Principal Dr.N.Ramakrishnan welcome the gathering. Union incharge Dr.
